about

Who I am

I am a dedicated and experienced football coach determined to pursue the rest of my career in Women’s & Girl’s football after building a passion for developing the female game.

Having grown up in Haverhill, CB9 I am a big fan of my local professional team Cambridge United and held a season ticket for many years. I’ve since had experience living on the south coast (Brighton) whilst studying as well as living in Vietnam between 2021 and 2024.

I’ve had extensive opportunities to coach through the range of ages and abilities levels in different cultures and whilst I’ve found my niche in the female game, I’m equally as excited about working with Under 9s starting their football journey as I am working with Elite U19 teams!

Outside of football I enjoy being surrounded by nature with my most recent highlight being a trip to the Bornean jungle! But nothing beats chilling with my Vietnamese dog Lac, whom my wife and I fell in love with and adopted from a rescue dog cafe in 2023.

Coaching Values

From my time as a project coach and leader for Football 4 Peace in the Middle East, I have a great appreciation of the importance of instilling values through the medium of sport. The values developed through this project are:

Trust, Respect, Responsibility, Equity & Inclusion.

I learnt that beyond the development of football skills, an underpinning of these values can have a great impact on shaping the young people in our care into positive citizens of the world.
